The North Dakota Association for Behavior Analysis (NDABA) is proud to host Dr. Raymond Miltenberger as a guest presenter at the 2020 North Dakota Association for Behavior Analysis Conference on September 3rd and 4th!
Dr. Miltenberger will be presenting the following:
- Lessons Learned from 30 Years of Research on Teaching Safety Skills
- Get Up and Go! ABA Approaches to Increasing Physical Activity
- ABA Approaches to Enhancing Sports Performance
Dr. Ray Miltenberger received his Ph.D. from Western Michigan University in clinical psychology after completing a predoctoral internship in developmental disabilities and behavioral pediatrics. He was a professor at North Dakota State University from 1985 – 2006. Currently, he is professor and director of the Applied Behavior Analysis Programs at the University of South Florida. Dr. Miltenberger’s research interests in applied behavior analysis have included teaching safety skills to children and individuals with disabilities, ABA approaches in health, fitness, and sports, analysis and treatment of repetitive behavior disorders, and functional assessment and treatment of problem behaviors. He has published over 250 journal articles and chapters, has co-edited a text on analysis and treatment of tics and repetitive behavior disorders, and has written a textbook on behavior modification that is frequently used in undergraduate and graduate programs.
Additional session topics include pediatric feeding disorders, intervention to address toe walking, shaping behavior, self-control training, making evaluations easy, and supervision and ethics sessions.
